Today I am reminded of the importance of leaving the cares of the world behind to have some quiet time in the embrace of my loving God through prayer. This is where is how I draw my strength, my source of Grace, my wisdom, my love. In union with my Lord and my God, I am ready to be sent.

To share and invite everyone into the fullness of life with God our loving Father, His Son our loving Saviour Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit together with His angels and His Saints. Amen

Eph 2:19-22

GOSPEL
Lk 6:12-16

Jesus went up to the mountain to pray,
and he spent the night in prayer to God.
When day came, he called his disciples to himself,
and from them he chose Twelve, whom he also named Apostles:
Simon, whom he named Peter, and his brother Andrew,
James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew,
Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus,
Simon who was called a Zealot,
and Judas the son of James,
and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
