I could have done so much more for You my Lord if I did not think myself better than anyone else. If I could see the child of God in everyone else recognising the same weaknesses and helplessness that I sometimes face and feel. If I keep in mind the amazement and wonder; of how loving mothers take on sacrifices each day to care and look after their children. Am I ready to take on such sacrifices for the children of God?
My sweet Jesus, I want to love as You love. Teach me Your ways so that I through Your love, may serve my sisters and brothers especially the least; in humble adoration and love for You, my Lord and God. Amen

Luke 14:12-14
Jesus said to his host, one of the leading Pharisees, ‘When you give a lunch or a dinner, do not ask your friends, brothers, relations or rich neighbours, for fear they repay your courtesy by inviting you in return. No; when you have a party, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind; that they cannot pay you back means that you are fortunate, because repayment will be made to you when the virtuous rise again.’
