Our Lord Jesus Christ came down from Heaven so that we might have life. He was born in Bethlehem which literally means House of bread. In a humble trough which was used to feed the animals.
He is the one and only Bread of life! He came to give us life, His life and we have it to the fullest through the Holy Eucharist. So like Him we too can be life giving.
So start your day if possible with the Holy Eucharist. If not then through prayer and desire of remaining in communion with Jesus. Instead of waking up and starting it with cynicism, skepticism, criticism, fault finding and passing ‘life taking’ comments.
Jesus said, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”
Praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
