During a prophetic intercession session, we saw the Lord breaking the strongholds of fear in the hearts of His children concerning the instability of the economy in recent times. And the fear of youths being alone to face challenges in studies, pressures and mental stress.
We were called to pray, dwell and share two main scripture passages with the assurance from the Lord that He will act through our intercession together with that of our Blessed Mother for her children.
**Matthew: 8:23-27**
23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”
**Matthew 21:18-22**
18 Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. 19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.
20 When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked.
21 Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
Anchored to our vine and our rock, with roots drawing from living water, we will bear much fruit which flows out like great currents to all nations. We declare that ”Our Lord is alive in our lives as He wants to be in yours! “
Glory and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
